Create a production order

Convert raw materials into a semi-finished product, with automatic yield, waste, and cost calculation.

This article covers creating a production order that converts raw materials into a semi-finished product.

There's currently no way to edit or undo a production order once it's saved — double check your data before saving.

Steps

1From "أوامر الإنتاج" (Production orders), choose the output semi-finished product from the dropdown.
2Enter the output quantity.
3If the product has a saved recipe, its ingredients are shown automatically with each material's status (✓ available or ✗ short).
4If no recipe exists, manually add raw materials under "المواد الخام المستخدمة" (Raw materials used) via "اختر مادة خام..." (Select raw material) and quantity, using "+ إضافة مادة خام" (Add raw material) to add more.
5Review the automatically-computed total inputs, waste, and yield percentage.
6Click "حفظ أمر الإنتاج" (Save production order).

Confirm the semi-finished product's quantity increased in inventory, and the consumed raw materials' quantities decreased by the correct amount.

Problem

The "حفظ أمر الإنتاج" (Save production order) button is disabled.

Solution

One of the recipe's ingredients is short on stock (✗) — check the "short" messages in the ingredients section and restock first.

Problem

"مخزون غير كافٍ لإتمام أمر الإنتاج" (Insufficient stock to complete the production order) on save.

Solution

Reduce the output quantity, or restock the missing raw materials before trying again.
