Connect a Kitchen Display (KDS) screen

The simplest path
Any admin panel user (Admin, Super Admin, or Kitchen role) can open the "المطبخ" (Kitchen) link from the sidebar, or visit the kitchen page directly — the live orders board appears immediately with no extra setup.
Setting up a standalone kitchen device (no full admin account)
- 1From the admin panel, open "إدارة الطباخين" (Manage cooks, /admin/cooks).
- 2Enter a username, name, and password, then click "إضافة طباخ" (Add cook).
- 3On the kitchen device itself, open "تسجيل دخول المطبخ" (Kitchen login, /kitchen/login).
- 4Enter the username and password, then click "دخول" (Log in).
- 5After logging in, the screen automatically shows the live orders board.
Order states on the board
- "جديد" (New) — order just came in.
- "جاري التحضير" (Preparing) — after clicking "ابدأ التحضير" (Start preparing).
- "جاهز للتوصيل" (Ready) — after clicking "جاهز للتغليف" (Ready to pack).
Common errors
Problem
"اسم المستخدم مستخدم بالفعل" (Username already in use) when adding a cook.
Solution
Choose a different username — every cook needs a unique username.
Problem
The kitchen screen doesn't show and redirects to the login page instead.
Solution
Make sure you're logged in with a valid cook account via /kitchen/login, or an admin account with the Kitchen or Admin role.
